A Checklist for Fall Décor

Today is the official first day of fall!! That means it is time to bring the warmth back into our homes and use autumn accents to decorate. I have put together a checklist on how to bring in the new season by sprucing up your home. What will you be adding to your home this fall?

1. Announce your address in style by cleverly etching your house number (or your initials or name) into a pumpkin.

2. Create an eye-catching fall centerpiece with candles, succulents and fresh flowers.

3. Keep it simple with an elegant display of white, or ghost, pumpkins. For visual interest, stagger the heights by using stacks of old books or vintage scales as pedestals.

4. Show off bittersweet berries in gold, green and clear bottles on a windowsill or shelf. Tiny gourds between the bottles add another shape to the seasonal mix.

5. For a quick and easy approach, group your favorite tiny pumpkins on a side table, and let the collection speak for itself. There is no right or wrong way to create this display. This arrangement looks unintentional, adding a carefree, casual seasonal touch.
