Blogger Spotlight: Megan Fussell of Chasing Pradas and PR

Today I'm bringing you another blogger spotlight from a fabulous young lady!! Megan Fussell of Chasing Pradas and PR is your go-to girl for everything life, style and PR! Let's meet Megan!

Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m Megan! I blog over at Chasing Pradas and PR. I am 24 years young, live in Atlanta, GA and love my job as Marketing and Aesthetics Manager for a thriving dermatology practice.

What inspired or motivated you to first start your blog?
I began blogging two years ago in college. I craved an outlet to showcase my love of style, develop my writing skills and quite frankly, get to know myself better. Prior to graduation, I realized that I had changed so much since writing my first entry on my original blog and it was time to narrow in on exactly what I wanted to tell the world. Chasing Pradas and PR came to life in January of 2014 after months of brainstorming. It is still a work in progress but I love sharing my successes (and failures) of being a twenty-something with my readers.

Do you blog full-time, for fun, as a hobby? Share your evolution!
Currently, Chasing Pradas and PR brings me a lot of joy. It’s a hobby I’m really passionate about. However, I admire the number of bloggers who are able to blog full-time!

What’s your favorite thing about being a blogger?
My favorite thing about being a blogger is the community. I have made some of the greatest friends through this outlet – ones I know I will share a lifetime of memories with!

What do you hope your readers walk away with after reading your blog?
When readers visit my blog, I hope they walk away feeling like it’s okay to chase after ALL of their career dreams while trying to maintain a life in their youth. I hope they laugh a little and maybe learn from my mistakes.

Are there any people, or other bloggers, you see as examples or to whom you aspire to?
Outside of the blogging world, Lauren Conrad has always been one of the women I’ve most looked up to. She said it best when asked what position was her favorite, and she answered, “CEO.” She has incredible personal style and is incredibly classy. Inside the blogging community, there are so many bloggers who are absolutely killing it. However, from the beginning I’ve always looked up to Lindsay Shoemake, founder of That Working Girl. Now a personal friend, Lindsay has completely taken over the career-centric, lady boss blogging space! She is a must-read for any ambitious millennial!

What advice would you give those who want to go into blogging?
My biggest piece of advice for those wanting to start a blog is to start writing posts for yourself. Great content first, audience later! Second, Pinterest is your best friend for all tips on blogging and endless resources.

Five fun facts!
1 // I’ve never broken a bone, but I’m a huge klutz!
2 // My parents are a lot older than most my age. My Dad is 70 and my Mom is 62. Looks are deceiving and you would never know it!
3 // My favorite color is neon pink.
4 // They always say you marry your father… My boyfriend is so similar to my Dad it’s scary.
5 // If you can’t tell from my Instagram, I’m kind of obsessed with my cat.
