This travel wishlist originally appeared on Jetsetter! But it was just too good, so I had to share! We all know that I have been bitten by the travel bug lately and I can't wait until I get a full-time, secure teaching job so I can travel the world.

Travel Tuesday | Winter Travels Abroad

After I finish grad school and get a full-time teaching job, my plan is to travel as much as I can during the holidays. While I love spending Christmas at home with my family, I cannot wait to go out and explore the world. And what better time to do so then during the holidays!

Here are just some of the places that are the top of my list to travel to during the holidays!

Home Is Where The Mountains Are | South Tyrol, Italy

Hi everyone! Today I want to show you a different side of Italy. When you think of Italy you probably think of pizza, the beach and warm weather. For the most part, this description of Italy is correct, but there is also a little part in northern Italy where there are no beaches and people's mother language is German. This little part is my home - South Tyrol - and if you enjoy nature and the mountains, you will definitely fall in love.

South Tyrol is a region of the mountains. It's suited in the Alps and the Dolomites and is famous all around the world. The Dolomites are also part of the UNESCO World Heritage. All our mountains are unique and a wonderful place to go hiking and explore nature. In winter we have a lot of snow and you can go skiing nearly everywhere. Being the first one on the slopes in the morning and breathing in the cold air makes you feel alive. Watching the sunrise or sunset on the mountains is a moment you will never forget. If you like traveling and you want to explore a place not a lot of people have been to, come to South Tyrol.

Not only is South Tyrol famous for its mountains and history, but the food is awesome too! South Tyrol mixes traditional Italian food with its own specialties. We have a lot of great pizzerias and the spaghetti is delicious. One example of a meal that you can only eat in South Tyrol is speck - tourists love it! Knödel and Kaiserschmarrn also make part of the South Tyrolian kitchen.

As you can see is South Tyrol a really unique and wonderful place. The history and the landscape of our home make us the people we are today!

Tory Burch: The Paris Collection

You might remember that last week I blogged about my travel dreams to Paris - you can read that here! Well I got an email over the weekend and literally my jaw hit the floor. Tory Burch has come out with the most elegant, yet sophisticated limited edition collection inspired by her travels in Paris along with her new store, the Rue Saint-Honore Flagship!!

I am so in love with the collection I just had to share some of my favorite pieces with you!

Travel Dreams: Paris

You might remember I mentioned here that when my friend and I got settled into our jobs we were going to take a trip to Europe! Our plan is to spend a week in Paris and a week in London over our Christmas/New Year's break. And what better way to spend Christmas than by being in Paris. In my free time I have been pinning like crazy and have really been looking at places to stay, where to eat, etc. I have come up with a soft itinerary of how I would like to spend my week in Paris!
